# 1 dad

My niece and I made this card. She picked out what she wanted and I put everything together. She wanted a star card for her dad. I did this for the father's day challenge at http://whimsicalwednesdays.blogspot.com/
How we did it:
Star card: wild card
# 1 Dad: celebrate with a flourish
I don't know if you can see if but I also did some inking around everything.

fishing

I made this card for the flaunt it friday challenge. I think it would be a great father's day card. It's blank and half the time my cards are. why? because a lot of the time I can see other uses for the card. For example: this particular card can be used for father's day, a pick me up card for my grandpa who loves fishing, a random note, et cetera. I tried to use my scraps for this card so it has weird dimensions.
How I did it:
base: 4 x 5
dot layer: 3 1/2 x 4 1/2 (I like fat edges)
blue layer: 3 3/4 x 3
fish: celebrate with flourish: 3 1/2

my pink stamper challenge

My Pinkalicious Blog Hop Friday

We needed to make a card that included black and our favorite color. Well...my favorite color is all in the red family. I didn't cheat. I didn't use a past card that I made. It just so happens that I'm late on making V-day cards. I'm a part-time online student and a full time mom. I just don't have time. Plus! I'm expecting a baby. So i've been preparing for that! She's supposed to come sometime next week! Exciting!!

catch up

I was thumbing through my pictures and I found these long lost cards that I made before Christmas,(before I got incredibly busy). For some reason i'm having issues with this post. I've been trying for 1/2 hour and two of the pictures won't turn the right way when uploaded. So oh well.

My husband actually made this card. We were in a time crunch that day and we needed to get over to the birthday party for 3 Nov. birthdays and this card wasn't done yet. So he picked out what he wanted cut and I cut it for him and he did everything else.
