last minute cupcake

Forgive the picture. I put off making this card to the last minute and I forgot to take a picture of it. Thankfully I remembered on the car ride over and took a picture with my cell phone. It's a very simple card. I'm really happy how it turned out.

a little something for you

i wanted to give a 365 card challenge a try. the challenge was to make a 'double stair step' card. I've also been wanting to make my sister-in-law a card. She is getting married in june. Her theme is butterflies and daisies. Her colors are white, yellow, green, and purple. I wanted to try a test run for the guest book she asked me to make. So here is the result.

Here is the view from the top so you can see the stairs. I think I made 3 stairs. oops. That didn't occur to me when I was
making it.

How I did it:
Small Daisies and Butterflies: punches I got from Michaels
Big Daisies: Sweet Treats
Stems: Sweethearts
flower chain background: stampology background stamp
a little something for you: studio 112 stamp
white gel pen
ek success markers
grass: scrap paper I cut

birthday card

Wow thank you so much for coming to my blog! and thank you momo for making the opportunity of giving us small bloggers a chance to get more followers. I had a super fun Saturday with my sisters-in-law. One of them just got engaged and was itching to go bridal shopping. She asked me if I can make her a guest book like I did for her sister. So I asked my husband if I could buy a new cricut cart. She wants daisies and butterflies. She really liked the flower on Sweet Treats. I'm not sure if it's a daisy but she says it is. So I got it! I had homework due that night so I had to wait to play with the cart until Sunday night. That is usually when I craft anyway. I have a couple of birthdays coming up in April so...What do you think? It's for my nephew. He's turning 6.
How I did it:
Cake: Sweet Treats: 3 1/2 in
Card base:blue: 4x4 folded
green layer: scrap green strips
patterned dots: 3 1/2x3 1/2
Happy Birthday: Studio 112 stamp
Strip in middle of cake is another scrap that helped the stamp show up
glitter glue
